Why I like these two? I love all the Senshi not only Moon and and the Inners. Pluto had to suffer the pain of loneliness. She had to suffer through the pain of seeing her comrades die and being alone for thousands of years. She needed to put aside her feelings for humanity's sake. Every single person did not deserve to suffer all that. We can really see her strength of will and admire it. Deep inside I am sure that every time she did something she did not like, she would weep. Her own humanity against the whole of the human race. Is there a comparism?
As for Saturn, her isolation and fearsome powers had led her to feel similarly. She was feared for her powers and yet she saved a lot of people with the same powers THEY feared. Its often said that power corrupts. But I beg to differ. Power does not corrupt. Only those who make use of it can make or break with it. It was Saturn who defeated Mistress Nine. It was Saturn who defeated Master Pharoah 90. It was Saturn who prevented a rout of the Moon Kingdom when she used the Death Ribbon Revolution on the Dark Kingdom forces.
Without a doubt these two are as important as the other Sailor Senshi. And teamwork is what makes the Senshi victorious each and every time. I can tell you that Sailor Moon is without a doubt a top of the line work of art both physically and mentally. A truely beautiful work of life itself.
Why is a grown up man like me or others enshrined in Sailor Moon? We all agree on one thing: Sailor Moon is about life. About love that transcends even death. About people getting together to grow up, share their lives and finally forging a solid friendship. If these girls can do that and sacrifice themselves, why not us? There are lessons to be learnt. Lessons we ignored everyday. Lessons of Life.
