Part 2
MI-6 Headquarters, London:
Moneypenny looked up as James Bond entered. "Good morning 007."

"Good morning to you Miss Moneypenny. Might I add that you are looking exceptionally beautiful today?" said the agent as he placed a yellow rose on her desk.

"Ah you're too kind James..."

[Show 007 in Miss Moneypenny.] said M over the intercom.

"Well, duty bellows." said Bond. Monty Penny just shook her head as 007 opened the sound-proof door.

"You wanted to see me, M?" said James Bond as he entered the office. Across from him, sitting at a large wooden desk, was a woman about 50 years old. She put down a file and looked at the agent known as 007. There was also another man with a mustache in the office working on one of the three phones.

"I've been looking over your file 007. You've been working nonstop for the past six months. You are in need of a vacation and you're taking it now." Her tone left no room for argument.

"Ahh good we won't be having you destroying any more of our equipment for a while." said the man with the mustache happily.

"Be quiet R!" said M. She then turn to Bond. "Now 007, you are to spend the next two weeks at least re..."

M stopped as her secritary entered the office. "What is it, Moneypenny?"

"There's a phone call for 007 on line two. A Mrs. Nodoka Saotome."

M turned to look at James who seemed a little taken back. "Who is this woman, James? More importantly how did she get this number?"

"Nodoka's is a friend. Her father is Tiger Tanaka of JSDF intelligence. As to how she got this number, you'll have to ask Tiger. May I?"

M handed one of the phones to Bond. "Of course. You do know that this call will be monitored and traced?"

Bond nodded as he picked up the receiver started to speak in fluent Japanese. <Nodoka, it's been a long time...What!?...When!?...> M watched in fascination as Bond's face changed before her eyes. First, it had become white. It then became red with rage which then became an ice cold calm. <has you're father found out where he is?... Right... OK... I'll be there in 16 hours.>

"What was that about?" asked M as 007 hung up the phone. She could listen to the tapes later, but she wanted to hear it from him.

"Her son, Ranma, has been kidnapped. Her father thinks it's the work of the Yakuza. I'll need a ticket to Tokyo..."

"No."

Bond looked M straight in the eye. "Need I tell you that Tiger is one of our best allies in the Far East?"

"Be that as it may, we'll send another 00 man. You are going to go on vacation as ordered!"

"Fine!" said James as he turned to leave the office.

"Where do you think you're going James!?"

"On vacation." said the agent as he closed the office door. M growled, there was no doubt in her mind where 007 planned to spend his vacation. Quickly she reached down and pushed the intercom.

"Security..."

"They won't stop him. Not with Ranma inv..." Moneypenny stopped as M glared up at her.

"Is there something you know that we don't Miss Moneypenny?"

Moneypenny took a deep breath. *You owe me one James.* "Ranma Saotome is not the child of a friend or an ally. Ranma...Ranma is Commander Bond's son."

"Good God! You mean there's TWO of them!?" yelled R. M ignored the man's outburst. "Miss Moneypenny, 007 doesn't have any children."

"Not on record Ma'am. You see...M-Mrs. Saotome apparently hoped to keep Ranma from getting involved in our world. Commander Bond was willing to respect her wishes."

"Did anyone else know about this?"

"Umm Q did. He did some DNA testing. I also think the Admiral suspected something."

"Miss Moneypenny, if you ever keep something like this from me again..." M didn't elaborate on what would happen. Moneypenny gulped and nodded. "Now what can you tell us about the boy."

"Umm not much. He's a martial artist, he causes a lot of property damage at his school, and he seems to be involved with...multiple girls."

"Well that proves it,.." grumbled R. "he's a Bond all right!"

M started rubbing her temples with her fingers. She had wanted Bond to take some time off. However, if what Moneypenny said was true then there really would be no way of stopping James. "Moneypenny, call 007 and tell him that there'll be a ticket waiting for him at the airport. R go with him and take the BMW."

"But..."

"GO!"

"Yes, Ma'am."

Tokyo, Japan 16 hours later:
Bond entered Tiger's underground office with R following not far behind. Tiger was sitting behind his desk and standing nearby was...*Nodoka...* She was pretty much as Bond remembered her sixteen years ago. She was dressed in a pink kimono and looked very tired. Slowly he walked up to her.

"Nodoka."

"James."

Bond took a deep breath. There was so much he want to tell her. So much to talk about. She looked as if there was just as much on her mind. Now however, was not the time. "Let's talk, after we find Ranma."

Nodoka nodded, as Bond turned to face Tiger. "Hello, Tiger it's been a long time."

Tiger nodded and smiled. Some might have found it odd for him to smile at the man that left his daughter pregnant. Tiger however, was a very open minded person. You had to be in this business. Bond had always been a good friend and Tanaka had forgiven both him and Nodoka a long time ago. In fact, he was very relieved that Ranma wasn't Genma's son. "It is good to see you again, James. Who is your friend?"

"Oh this is R, he's Q's replacement." R gave a slight bow to the two.

"R? Where's Q?" asked Nodoka.

"Q has retired."

Nodoka smiled slightly, she had liked the old man. Although she was going to miss him, she was happy for him. "Oh, That's nice."

Bond nodded as he turned back to Tanaka. "So have you found him yet?"

"I believe we have." said Tiger as he pushed a button, bringing up a map of Japan. "We think he's being held at a construction compound in the mountains, here."

Bond rubbed his chin as he looked at the location. "Tiger, isn't this an odd play for the Yakuza? I thought you had good connections with them."

Tiger nodded; it wasn't odd for him to have connections in the Yakuza. Both MI-6 and the CIA had mob contacts. "I do, with several of them. This may be a new gang, trying to make a name for themselves."

"They might not know who they have."

"If so why did they go through all the trouble?" asked Tanaka, although he knew Bond was right. Although they fought sometimes, organized crime outfits rarely tried to outright provoke government intelligence agencies. Not when said agencies were above the law and could make you disappear, legally!

"Maybe they want him for his martial arts ability." suggest 007. Tanaka nodded as Bond continued. "Speaking of martial arts, has his friends figured out what's happen yet."

Tiger shook his head. "They started destroying the district six hours ago. After they didn't find him they stopped. It looks like they're getting ready for a trip though."

"Do they know where he is?"

"NO!" snapped Nodoka. "And they won't find out either. We DON'T need them."

James raised an eyebrow at the sharpness of Nodoka's voice, but continued. "Is there any chance that they might of connected Ranma to me."

"I don't know, but I doubt it."

"Well we can investigate, after we rescue Ranma." said Bond. "Do you have a commando team on hand?"

"I have a NINJA team on hand." said Tiger proudly as he started to guide Bond to an operations center. Nodoka smiled slightly and shook her head. Ninja, just another name for a well trained killer. Her father still seem to have an obsession with them. This wasn't to say that Tiger was behind the times. In truth most of his ninjas, or modern ninjas as he liked to call them, preferred the western martial art of lock load shoot.

Moving to the operations center of the JSDF intelligence headquarters, Nodoka and the others began to plan the rescue of her son.
