Part 3

Ranma sat chained to a chair. Normally he wouldn’t stand for such a thing. In fact he hadn’t stood for it. When he was first brought here he had smashed out of the chair and quickly took out five of his captures. Unfortunately one of the thugs had gotten a lucky shot into Ranma’s leg. He had never been shot before. Man did it hurt, like his whole leg had caught fire. That had given the other guards time to surround Ranma and beat the crap out of him. Ranma was then chained to another chair, this one made of metal, and they surrounded him with four armed guards. They didn’t even bother to treat his wound. {Guess they figure I’ll be less trouble. Heh, just wait till I heal. Then I’ll teach you jerks a real lesson.}

Ranma then looked down at his wound. {Wish I had gone through the Breaking Point training. If I was tough as Ryoga, that bullet probably wouldn’t hurt so much.}

Ranma could almost bet that this was his father’s fault in someway. He sure didn’t remember pissing off any Yakuza types. Now if he could only figure out what they wanted with him.

While Ranma trying to figure out why the men wanted him, in another part of the same building two other yakuza were having a talk.

“Damn it what’s the big deal Yashi, he wasn’t supposed to be shot!”

“Shit Hero, it was the only way we could get the kid in line. Why the hell did we grab this kid anyway?”

 “Cause the boss says so that’s why. Stop ya bitching.”

 “That’s easy for to say. He put five of my guns in the hospital. Then there’s his friends, the…the”

“The Nerima wreaking crew.”

“Oh how can I forget?” said Yashi sarcastically. “Yesterday they destroyed half the town!”

 “So what?”

“So what? I’ll tell you so what! Sooner or later they’re going to figure is out he’s here and then I’m going to have them coming for me.” Hero waved his hand.

“Relax, that’s why I doubled the firepower here. Besides it’s almost over. Isn’t that right?” Hero said the last over his shoulder. Yashi then watched as a third man stepped out of the shadows. This man was tall and thin, with a beard. As he stepped up he frowned.

 “The package wasn’t supposed to be damaged.”

Yashi sneered, “Yeah, well you didn’t tell us he was going to be some sort of Dragon Ball character.”

The man narrowed his grayish green eyes. “I want to see him.”

“But of course, go right ahead. Believe me, the sooner I’m ride of the little fuck the better!”

 Ranma looked up as a tall gajin walked up to him. “Who are you?”

 “I’m a doctor. I’m here to look at your leg.” Replied the man. However, something about the man bothered Ranma. He had the feeling that he most certainly did not want this man to work on him. Ranma gulped as the man pulled a bottle and a needle out of the bag he had brought with him.

“What’s that?”

 “Something for the pain.” Ranma had trouble believing that. He was pretty sure that a painkiller wasn’t supposed to be blue.

“I think I’ll pass.”

“Oh, I’m afraid that’s not possible Mr. Saotome.” Said the doctor as he finished filling the syringe. He was just about to inject Ranma when there was suddenly a loud boom. The man’s head jerked up, as did Ranma’s. Outside allot of firing could be heard, from automatic weapons. The doctor frowned and quickly put away the needle. Closing his bag, he then made a fast exit.

“Hey where you going?” asked one of the Yakuza that came in with him. Ranma blinked as the two went out the door. He then looked at the other thugs in the room with him. He saw how they were all getting very nervous, as the gunfire seemed to come closer.  Ranma started to struggle with the chains that held him. For all he knew those where his friends they where shooting at.

One of the Yakuza where just about to knock Ranma out when suddenly the door flew open and another foreigner jumped into the room. The gajin seemed to fire his submachine gun in all direction at once. Ranma stared wide-eyed as the four Yakuza around him dropped dead. The man then stepped up to him. Ranma gulped, as this killer just seemed to stare at him for a moment. Then the man knelt down and started to work on the chains.

“Can you walk?” asked the man.

“W-What?” asked Ranma as he watched the man carefully. Somehow the man’s wristwatch was burning through the metal chain.

“Can you walk?” asked the man again.

“Why should I go with you?” growled Ranma. He didn’t know who this man was or what he wanted.

“Ranma!” Ranma turned to the new voice and his eyes bulged.

 “M-Mom?” Nodoka stood at the door, her sword drawn. Instead of a kimono as Ranma had become accustom to, she wore what appeared to be a gray-green ninja suit. Both the suit and the katana where now splattered red with blood.

“Do as he orders son.”

“Run out of ammo?” asked the gajin noticing the sword. Nodoka nodded and the man reached into his belt and removed a magazine. He then tossed the clip to Nodoka. Ranma blinked as his mother caught the clip and put away her sword. She then pulled out a similar weapon and loaded it with practiced ease.

“W-Who are you?” {And what have you done with my mom?}

“The name’s Bond. Come on Ranma, lets get you out of here.” Said the man helping Ranma up. Another thug then burst through the door.  Nodoka fired a burst, sending the man flying back. Ranma could only stare at his mother? Seeing this gajin kill a bunch of Yakuza had been hard enough. Seeing his own mother do such a thing was a little too much.

“Come on.” Growled Nodoka. Ranma followed his Mother and Bond as they made their way out the door and down the hall towards and exit. Reaching the end of the hall, Bond kicked open the exit door, only to jump back as the door and frame exploded in a hail of bullets.

“Machinegun!”

“Oh, you think James.” Said Nodoka as she edged over and peeked around the doorframe. She then yelped as more bullets slammed into the exit.

 “Mom!” Ranma rushed up, but was pushed away.

“Stay back!” Yelled Nodoka. She then turned to Bond. “RPK 7.62mm in the tower.”

Bond nodded as Nodoka once more moved up. She turned around the corner just enough to let out a quick burst then dove back as more bullets came down. Ranma watched as 007 also tried with the same result.

“No good.” Said Bond shaking his head. He then pushed something on his throat. “Ninja 2 to Master. Ninja 2 to Master.”

[This is Master.]

“We’ve got him but we’re pinned down at the exit by a light machine gun in a tower.”

[Roger I’m on the way Master out.]

Ranma looked at the man and wondered why he was talking to himself. Ranma could tell they where in trouble as he now saw several men approaching the exit. Nodoka and the gajin where keeping them down by firing short bursts at them, but Ranma knew their ammo couldn’t last forever. He then heard a car coming up at high speed. In an instant a dark blue BMW pulled up to the exit.

“Go!” yelled Nodoka as she started laying down cover fire. Bond grabbed Ranma by the arm and dragged him to the car. Opening the front door and pushing Ranma in the seat he turned to Nodoka. “Nodoka come on!”

Nodoka rushed to the car and jumped in the back seat with 007. “Go go go!”

“Hang on!” Yelled the older man driving the car. Ranma grabbed on to the seat as the BMW suddenly sped up and did 180 turn. As it turned hundreds of bullets bounced off the car’s armor. There was then a bright flash and the BMW lurched to one side as a rifle grenade slammed into the car. The older man driving then turned to Bond.

“I must commend your Q branch Bond-san. They make a fine automobile.”

“Look out!” yelled Ranma. The older man turned to see that the Yakuza had blocked the road with a large truck. The man suddenly hit several buttons on the steering wheel. Ranma then watched wide-eyed as two missiles flew out and blew the truck in half. In an instant they were on open road. The car then slowed down as the driver took out a small radio.

“Fire Bat 1 this is Master. Ninja 1 and 2 are clear. Begin your run, over.”

[Roger Master, Fire Bat 1 out.]

Ranma then watched as two Mitsubishi F-1 fighter-bombers came in low and dropped several Cluster bombs on the construction site. In an instant the site was covered with scores of explosions. {How nice of the Yakuza to put this place so far out.} thought the man. {I’ll take care of the rest later.}

Nodoka only looked at the bombing for a moment, before looking at her son then at the gun in her hands. Dropping the gun to the floor, she brought her hands to her face and sobbed uncontrollably. Feeling Bond moving closer, Nodoka grabbed on to him and started crying even harder. 007 held her and started rocking her side to side.

“There there No-chan. He’s alright. He’s safe now. Everything’s going all right.”

Ranma was about to say something but he then felt a tap on his arm. He turned to see the driver shake his head and push another button that caused a glass partition to come up. Ranma narrowed his eyes at the man.

“Who are you?” The man seemed unconcerned about the glare he was getting as he smiled.

“I don’t think you remember the last time I saw you. I’m Tiger Tanaka, your grandfather.” Ranma just stared at him. He then asked the next thing on his mind.

“Who is that Bond guy with Mom?”

Tiger continued to smile. “You’ll find out soon enough.”

A short while later, the BMW pulled up to a large house. As the group started to get out of the car, Tiger turned to his daughter.

“No-chan dear, I think the boy has a few questions.”

Nodoka stepped up to her son. She had finally pulled herself together and now looked as regal as ever, despite all the blood on her cloths.

“Mom, what the hell is going on? You’re machine-gunning people, those fighter jets, that old man says he’s my grandpa, and…” His mother quickly cut him off.

“Ranma your language! Yes, he is you’re grandfather. As to what you saw today, we’ll discuss that later I assure you. Right now there is someone I need you to meet.”

Bond then stepped up as Nodoka continued. “Ranma, this is commander James Bond of the British Secret Service. He…he is your father.”

In an office on the far side of Tokyo a man sat behind a large desk. The speaker on his desk then suddenly came to life.

[Sir?]

“What is it?”

[Yokoboto on line three sir.]

“Patch him through…Mr. Yokoboto, I understand things didn’t go well at the construction site.” Said the man in fluent Japanese.

[Didn’t go well he says. It was fucking disaster! Half my boys are dead and 160 billion of my yen just got bombed to hell with fucking air strike! Why the hell didn’t you tell me Tiger would be involved?]

“I so sorry Mr. Yokoboto, a slight oversight on my part.”

[Yeah, well you better not oversight my pay. I expect double for this bullshit.]

“Don’t worry Mr. Yokoboto” said the man as he reached over to a red button. “You’ll get exactly what you’ve got coming to you.”

The man pushed the button and a large explosion rocked the quiet night.
