Hi.

Since I've debuted myself in the ronin mailing list, (because I would 
have started sending at FFML, if I had come in sooned than a day before
the exodus) I thought to start sending here with a poem I wrote a while
back, I think it was after OAV 3 of Ranma 1/2.  Tell me what you think 
about it, then.

Switch, keeper of the zoo


        Just as the skyline changes as the day descends,
        I do the same.
        My heart drifts towards thoughts of you
        as my feet carry me closer and closer.
        And in the heavy mists of early night enshrouding,
        I am lost.
        But I do not fear.
        For in this haze, as sure as change will always follow change,
        I will soon be with you.
        For my feet know the way to your door,
        and my heart knows the way to yours.

        Have you ever felt so drawn into another,
        that when the mind entreaties to forget,
        the heart is not as kind?
        My feet still carry, as far away from you as I'd need to be,
        as near to your side as I'd like to be.
        As much as you have found some other,
        I cannot convince my wand'ring heart to leave,
        nor can I confuse my feet to lead me astray.

        and my need carries me closer and closer.
        And in the heavy curse of deception enshrouding,
        I am lost.
        For in this haze, as sure as change will always follow change,
        I will never be with you.
        For my heart knows not the way to tell you,
        and your heart knows not to understand.
