From: Kaoru L. Shimitsu To: Lee Ormond Subject: Re: Fragile Clay Date: Thursday, July 15, 1999 12:07 AM Well, I would like to join your fan club. As to the listed questions on the words of art page: 1 & 2. I'm not sure exactally where it's going, that is what intrigues me the most about the series. 3. The first time Ranma finds Hiroshi in the vault and agrees to tell the truth. 4. I have trouble remebering quotes, so I never really have a favorite one from your series, but one that I have from another, completely diffrent series is '"When good friends get together, all else fades to unimportance"-- War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death', is from the MYTH series by Robert Asprin, I'm not sure, but it might give you an idea for the series, who knows? 5 & 6. The point right after Akane and Ranma found out that Takewaki Kuno was only playing stupid. Just about anything else was expected during that moment, but not for him to admit to playing dumb. 7. Not currently, but it could be turned several ways to make it seem more relavent, maybe even remedy the current crisis, but that is upto you. 8. These scenes appear to be more of a tangent than actually a part of the series, but as I said before, that can be worked around. 9. I believe that you do portray her acurately to the way the origional series wanted her to be shown, but I haven't seen past second season. 10. Genma in my opinion is more or less in shock with what has been happening to his son, and is deeply considering if he pushed him over the edge and is considering comitting suicide. Nokoda is also in shock, her ability do deal with reality had completely colapsed when she found out Ranko was Ranma, and the only thing that is keeping her from completely loosing it is her promise to her mother and that she is now able to see her son/daughter grow up. 11 & 12. Everland is probably some island retreat that some monk found, and without the ability to afford a rectory, decided to turn it into a spiritual retreat for the rich kids that are in the morally degraded world. 13. Mine is Hiroshi, mainly because I can more closely identify with him then any of the others so far, though I have a pretty good understanding of how everyone is dealing with the current crisis. 14, 15, 16, & 17. There is humor on several levels, some of which might be beyond some, and that you may not have realized/intended to be there, so yes and no. 18 & 19. Not really, for one thing, you aren't a dragon or can switch genders, I don't know you personally, so it is hard to tell if you are making it a self insertion or not. Currently the story is unclear, but it will be either Hiroshi or Akane, but it currently leaning toward Hiroshi.
